winter blues (still)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it spring? The reason I ask is because there's a full-scale blizzard underway here in Toon Town. I just drove home through near zero-visibility conditions, and the bad stuff isn't even supposed to start until tomorrow! We hit 24 degrees Celsius a week ago and now this? It seems old man winter was only having a nap. The bastard.

not to be a jerk, but it's sunny and 70 here in PA... sorry man, that stinks. I was definitely ready for winter to be over. This last week it hit 30's again for a few days.

Where's global warming when you need it? Oh right, in politics of course. Maybe you can get Al Gore to come hold a magnifying glass over your house.

LOL I'd settle for a mayor who actually believes in snow removal.

Jerk. :-) No snow right now, but we're under a winter storm watch for tonight and tomorrow, so who knows.

Maybe a new phrase should be, April blizzards bring May flowers, to heck with showers, huh? I'm sorry about all the cold and storm, but spring will hopefully sprins soon. Hang in there, hopefully the bastard goes into hibernation soon!

April flurries bring the worries? Ah well, it's all good. Spring will come back soon enough.

The system actually deteriorated west of us (thankfully), so all we ended up with was some freezing rain overnight, most of which had melted by the time I got out of bed this morning. I hear that Calgary got two feet of snow, though. :-)
